Getting Rid of Weeds

It is fall and we have enjoyed some nice rain but the garden is also getting out of control especially with weeds. Today I started to clean my kid's raised bed which has some tomatoes, strawberries, mint, passion fruit vine, and lots of sour grass. Instead of pulling the sour grass, I just cut it at the soil level, leaving the root intact so when it dies it provides some nutrients to the soil.
